The watch is offered with a tapered stainless steel bracelet, with polished central links and brushed outer links. Inside lives, the high-frequency El Primero 3600 automatic movement, introduced last year as we mentioned earlier, delivers 36,000 Vph and offers up to 60 hours of power reserve. On the opaline salmon dial, the usual three registers in different shades of grey, a date window at 4 1/4 o’clock with the background matching the dial, a grey inner ring and a salmon outer ring, rhodium-plated faceted hour markers and hands all filled with Super-LumiNova and a central chronograph hand that makes one turn in 10 seconds. The new Chronomaster Original, which retains the layout of the previous variants on the outside and on the dial, features a stainless steel case measuring 38mm in diameter by 12.6mm in thickness, with finishes that alternate between polished and brushed, crown with the signature of the brand at three o’clock flanked by two pump-style pushers, sapphire crystal on the dial and case back and 50m water resistance. The new chronograph, which comes with a salmon opaline dial, is a new and unprecedented iteration of the Zenith Chronomaster Original based on the 1969 A386, which since last year and for the first time, comes with a fully integrated automatic chronograph movement, which you can find out more here.
